It's now been just over a year since I started doing coaching with Jason. In that time I've doubled my business AND I'm not too far off tripling it! He has also just helped me move into my very own new PT Studio. I look foward to every session to pick his brain and see what he's got for me next, no matter what the subject is, he's a wealth of knowledge..I just can't wait to see what the future brings :)

I have been one of Jason’s PT Coaching clients for over 6 months and he has helped me achieve so much in starting, running and progressing my personal training business. I made the big decision mid 2010 to begin a new business venture (Personal Training Studio) after being a personal training licensee at a major gym franchise for over 5 years. I began coaching with Jason soon after this and I believe he is one of the reasons that my studio has had such a great start and is growing from day to day. I believe his goal orientated approach to coaching has given me great confidence in continuing to run and build a successful studio. Jason has helped me in many important business areas including developing studio systems, building a great team of trainers, low cost marketing strategies and goal setting. Thankyou Jason for all of your help, without it I don’t think I would be in the position I am today and I appreciate all that you have done to help me through this very tough but satisfying time!

When we think about profit it is easy to become caught up on income, how much we are grossing, netting, making, wholesale price, cost price, adding GST, profit margin etc etc... BORING haha.. but important right?

1. Don’t work on Wednesday. It doesn’t matter which day it is, or even if it is a whole day. Schedule a half-day – whatever works for you. All too often Personal Trainers focus on training clients (which is great! That’s what you love right?) In doing so we forget about the cogs of the business – paperwork, accounting, collecting leads etc. Scheduling a specific time where under no circumstances do you book clients is a great way to make sure your business runs like clock work and the paperwork doesn’t pile up.

When operating a Personal Training business especially in today’s economy it seems to make sense to have multiple streams of income. MLM has become common, the selling of supplements, online training, nutritional advice, clothing, memberships, books, cds, audios, recruitment and other services including the ever exploding Zumba just to name a few.
